ePack #18

Dear Families:

It is hard to believe that January is almost over!  This school year is certainly flying by.  Here is this week's update:

Monday:  Please note that first semester kindergarten report cards will be sent home on Monday, January 30th.  Please return the yellow envelope to school with your signature.

Enrichment Program:  Jason Newton (map maker) will visit 4PS and 4K on January 31st. Mr. Newton will also visit 4P on Wednesday, February 1st.  Thank you to Mrs. Coddaire for organizing these visits.

Parking:  I realize this sounds repetitive, but arrival/dismissal issues continue to occur. Here are the basic rules:

  • Drop Off is at 8:05 a.m. on Barrows Street (Door A)
  • Parents should pull along the curb near Mr. Rancourt to drop off their child
  • If you want to walk your child to Door A, you must park beyond the crosswalk
  • At dismissal, there is absolutely NO PARKING in the Barrows St. parking lot
PTO:  Please note that Kristen Kraskouskas was named Interim President and Heather Chick was named Interim Vice-President at this past Monday's PTO meeting. Thank you to Mrs. Kraskouskas and Mrs. Chick for your time and efforts.

Thank You:  Thank you to all of the volunteers who have come in to read to our students as part of our I-CARE program.

February Lunch Menu:  February's lunch menu is posted in this week's ePack.  There are no other postings this week.

Next Friday:  We will have our final Patriots Rally Day of the school year on Friday, February 3rd!  Good luck to the Pats in SB 51!

Enjoy the last few days of January!

Mr. Gaudette

ePack #17

Dear Parents:

I hope you enjoyed the recent long weekend!  Here is this week's Community School update.

Monday:  There is a PTO meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the library.  Please join us!

Congratulations:  Congrats to Ms. Bolton, School Librarian, who was awarded funds via the Richard A. Smith Grant to create a "green screen" studio in the library.  I'm looking forward to the students' creations!

Dogs:  Let me start with saying that I'm one of the biggest dog lovers on the planet. However, dogs should not be brought to our campus during drop off or pick up UNLESS you stay on the sidewalk. Thank you for your cooperation.

Tomorrow:  We will have another Patriots Rally Day tomorrow as the Pats are in the AFC Championship Game this weekend.  Students and staff members are invited to wear their gear to school tomorrow.

School Council:  The 2016-2017 School Council has begun construction on a new Parent Welcome Center in the main hallway of our school.  Please check it out!

That's all for now!  There is only one posting in tonight's ePack.  Enjoy your weekend!

Thank you,

Mr. Gaudette

ePack #16

Dear Families:

Happy New Year!  I hope you are having a great 2017 so far!  I did not post an ePack last week as it was a four day week right after vacation.  We have many postings in today's ePack, so please make sure you check them out.

Registration:  2017-2018 registration for kindergarten and incoming grade one students will occur tonight at the Early Learning Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Student Jobs:  We are "employing" grade four and grade five students this year for a limited number of jobs - recycling, computer lab, etc. The students received applications recently and they are due tomorrow.

Patriots Rally Day:  Staff and students are invited to wear their Pats gear or red, white and blue tomorrow to get ready for Saturday night's playoff game!

No School:  Please note that there is no school on Monday, January 16th due to MLK Day.

Drop Off:  Please note the Morning Drop Off Procedures posted in today's ePack.  Please abide for our  drop off rules - they are for everyone's safety.

PTO:  Our next PTO meeting is Monday, January 23rd at 7:00 p.m.  Hope to see you!

Homework Club:  Please remember that specific children have been been invited to a morning Homework Club and that club is Tuesday - Friday.  Thanks.

That's all for now.  Enjoy the long weekend!
