ePack #28

Dear Families:

Wow!  Can you believe this rain!?  It looks like the April showers are going to continue for a couple more days.  Our third, fourth and fifth graders have worked hard on the English Language Arts MCAS testing and we are proud of their efforts.  Third grade has their last session tomorrow!

School Photos:  Photos seemed to go well today.  Please make sure to send back the photos when you receive them whether you are purchasing or not purchasing the pictures.

Report Cards:  Trimester 2 report cards for grades 1 - 5 will be distributed on Monday, April 11th.  Please return the yellow envelope with your signature.

Conferences:  Parent - Teacher Conferences are scheduled for next Thursday (April 14th) and Friday (April 15th). Both days are early release days at 11:30 a.m. for FDK - Grade 5. There is no school for half-day kindergarten students on both days.

April Vacation:  Please note that April Vacation is scheduled for Monday, April 18 - Friday, April 22nd.  Enjoy!

Mom and Son Night Out:  Please note the posting in today's ePack.  I believe a hard copy was sent home, as well.

Keep N.A. Beautiful:  Please note the posting in today's ePack on the "Great American Clean Up".  Please consider volunteering for this annual clean up of North Attleborough!

Free Books:  We will be doing another reading challenge over April vacation similar to the "Marshmallow Reading Challenge" during February vacation.  In order to get the children inspired, we will giving everyone a free book next week!

Visitors:  Community School had some interesting visitors this week - Mapmaker Jason Newton visited our Grade 3 students and Jeremy Reiner, Chief Meteorologist at WHDH Channel 7 news, visited our Grade 2 students.  The children enjoyed both visits!

Have a great weekend!

Mr. Gaudette
