ePack #22

Dear Families:

Happy March! We had a very busy week back from February Break!  As you know, we have been busy with Read Across America Week activities.  Thank you for sending in your children prepared to participate in these activities.  Tomorrow we close out the week with Pajama Day!  Thank you to our reading staff, Mrs. Boynton and Mrs. Houston, our Curriculum Director, Mrs. Brems, and our Librarian, Ms. Bolton, for organizing this week's events!

Author Visit:  Our K-2 students were visited yesterday by Lyn Smith, author of A Porcupine's Promenade.  Everyone really enjoyed this visit.  Special thanks to Kindergarten Literacy Teacher, Mrs. Meropol, for organizing this visit!  Please see pictures below.

Little Red Schoolhouse Visits:  Both of our grade three classrooms visited the Little Red Schoolhouse this week.  This is always a fun trip back in time!  Thanks to our parent volunteers.

Grade Five Wax Museum Presentations:  Grade Five parents are invited to Community School on Wednesday, March 8th from 6 - 7 p.m. to view the fifth graders' projects.  We hope to see you!

Friday:  Tomorrow is our last event for Read Across America Week!  Children are invited to wear their pajamas for Pajama Day.

March's Goal:  The students' goal for March is to earn 425 compliment cards from staff members!  Our monthly theme for March is perseverance.

Postings:  There are many postings in this week's ePack.  Please make sure you check them out here.

Have a nice weekend!

Mr. Gaudette
