Dear Families:
I hope everyone enjoyed April Vacation! We are entering the home stretch of the school year and everything becomes very busy from this point forward. Please pay special attention to future ePacks and our other notification systems - Twitter, Remind, school website, Connect-Ed messages - for important dates and reminders.
Thank You: I would like to thank the PTO and all of the volunteers for their generosity during Teacher Appreciation Week prior to vacation. The staff very much appreciated your efforts!
MCAS: Our Grade 4 students did a great job on their Computer-Based ELA MCAS Testing this week! Everything went very smoothly. Grade 3 wrapping up ELA MCAS tomorrow, Friday, April 28th. You can find the full schedule going forward here.
Walk to School Day: Community School will be walking to school on Wednesday, May 3rd. Students and parents interested in walking should meet at the Bank of America at 7:45 a.m. and check in with Mrs. Burke.
Fidget Spinners: I understand that these are very popular at the present moment. My own children have one! However, they have become a distraction in school. Therefore, fidget spinners are no longer allowed in school effective immediately. Thank you!
Drop Off: This continues to be a problem at Community School. Children should not be let out of their vehicles until they pull up to the curb where Mr. Rancourt is standing. Thank you for your cooperation.
Welcome Back: Welcome back to Grade 1 Teacher, Mrs. O'Brien! She returned this week from maternity leave.
PawSox Tickets: If you would like to attend the Community School PawSox night on Saturday, May 13th, please return the ticket order forms on Monday, May 1st. If you lost your order form, there is one in tonight's ePack.
There are a few postings in tonight's ePack. Please check them out here.
Have a great weekend!
Mr. Gaudette
